Seaside of Oxnard Girls Fastpitch Softball is a non-profit organization that operates under the supervision of USA Softball Association. We welcome ALL girls ages 3 to 14 year old with or without experience. We strive to provide a positive experience for all girls in our community promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, high academic achievement, and leadership.
Our goal is for each player to have fun while gaining knowledge of the great game of softball. We aim to create and maintain an environment of teamwork, honesty and fair play that fosters positive self-esteem, team spirit and individual growth through personal achievement and team play.
#seasidesoftball would like to express our appreciation to the Oxnard Moose Lodge. They have been supporting us the entire way of this upcoming season as well as providing us with a place to host past events. Thank you for all of your support from your #seasodefamily as we are all so grateful for your partnership.
The lines and bases of a softball field don't set up by themselves. It takes volunteers to make our fields look nice for our girls. The more volunteers we have the less work and time it is to set up. It also allows our coaches to focus on warming up our girls before game time.
If you would like to be part of our field crew please contact Justin at 760-960-8747
Thank you in advance for those stepping up to help make our season a success....
We still have some Board Seats available, Please contact Justin Tapia 760-960-8747
Rosalinda Zavala made her pitching debut at Seaside of Oxnard in the 8u division. She played for Seaside of Oxnard up until 2014 then continued her softball career at Pacifica High School. Rosie graduated from Pacifica High School in mid 2017 and was set to be the starting pitcher for the Oxnard College Condors.
Rosie was an avid lover of softball and has been playing since the age of 4. Among other talents, she loved singing and dancing, and most recently grew a passion to video filming and editing. Rosie was to follow in the foot steps of her father and become a Respiratory Therapist. Rosie's life could not be saved, for the Lord had better plans in store for her.
Rosie will be greatly missed by many friends and family. She had a huge personality, wonderful smile and a beautiful spirit. Her laugh was contagious and she brought joy to everyone around her. She loved life and lived it like there's no tomorrow. She lived by her own rules and touched everyone that came in contact with her. She will be dearly missed.
